From the early identification of key synaptic vesicle proteins, discovery of key neurotransmitter transporters, solving the key structures of SNARE complexes both for synaptic and intracellular membrane fusion, dissecting the peculiarities of presynaptic membranes, the Jahn lab catalysed and shaped the knowledge of neuroscience for decades. This event is a tribute to the legacy of Reinhard Jahn, bringing together trainees, colleagues and friends to celebrate his profound impact on science and education.
