Vom 23. bis 24. Oktober 2018 veranstaltet der Sonderforschungsbereich 1286 ein Symposium zum Thema „Advanced Microscopy & Biomedicine meets NanoSIMS“. Die Veranstaltung zeichnet sich durch eine Vielzahl von nationalen SprecherInnen aus, die ihre Forschungsergebnisse in Zusammenhang mit neuartigen Bildgebungsverfahren präsentieren werden. Aus dem Bereich der NanoSIMS Methodik sind Vorträge zu erwarten, die sowohl eine Anwendbarkeit in der Biomedizin als auch in Kombination mit der hochauflösenden Licht- und Elektronenmikroskopie aufzeigen sollen.
